Bill Maher’s New Rules Takes on Secret Millionaire and Undercover Boss

My best instincts have me avoiding CBS’s Undercover Boss and ABC’s Secret Millionaire, but I’ve seen enough of their “feel-good, the rich really love you” promos to gather that Bill Maher’s take last night on network cynicism is right on the money.
Plus, you gotta love any show with a punch line like “Shine My Shoes, Fuckface!” no matter how sadly true it might be.

I think I should walk around saying things like “shine my shoes, fuckface” more often. Seems like a good motto to live by.
MG and I have been saying it back and forth to each other since watching Maher on Friday night. It really rolls off the tongue, and is much more pleasing to the ear than my most recent catch phrase, “up yours, glue stick!”
Loved this Gary!
