Sam’s Red Dot
Certainly this drink already exists in a similar form, but whatever it’s name is, it can’t beat “Sam’s Red Dot,” a tribute to the Westie who lives across the hall from MG and feverishly chases a red laser dot back and forth down the hall until he keels over from exhaustion.
1 1/2 ounces vodka
1 1/2 ounces Pallini Raspicello
2 raspberries
Shake the contents over ice and pour with the two raspberries waiting anxiously at the bottom of your glass. The ruby color and the sweet taste make it a great dessert drink. For an additional kick, add 1 ounce of Bailey’s. For even more of a kick, set the lighting low, dress your cat up in jewelry and pretend you’re at a swanky ball. Dance around the room and say things like “Oh you mad boy!” and “Let’s all do the Lindy!” You’ll work off the caloric content of the drink and your neighbors won’t come around so much.
